IBM i
IBM's operating system for Power servers running traditional AS/400-lineage business applications, with Db2 for i built directly into the OS.
IBM i is the current name for the operating system originally introduced as OS/400 on the AS/400 platform. It runs on IBM Power hardware, includes Db2 for i as its native database, and remains the primary environment for RPG and COBOL business applications across most of the installed AS/400 base.
