watsonx.ai
The studio component of watsonx for building, tuning, and deploying foundation models and generative AI applications, including retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) against enterprise data.
watsonx.ai is the AI studio inside IBM's watsonx platform. It provides a prompt lab for experimenting with IBM Granite and select third-party foundation models, tools for tuning and deploying models, and RAG patterns for grounding generative AI responses in an organization's own data. For an IBM i shop, watsonx.ai is the underlying foundation-model layer that other watsonx-branded products are built on. IBM Bob, IBM's AI coding agent for IBM i, is a separate product outside the watsonx brand.
